I hope you are relaxing before back to school gets in full swing! Or maybe you are already back at school? On Tiktok I noticed a lot of teachers are in the process of setting up their classrooms! That is exciting news! Some teachers are going all out and stringing lights and putting up colorful contact paper on the walls.

I am grateful to just have an office to decorate this year! It has been a tiring summer chasing after a 2 and a half-year-old. =) I am starting at a new district, and tomorrow I will be starting my new to the district training.

I also know that teachers are getting ready with their back to school resources! Today and tomorrow is the TPT sale! Go through your wishlist and grab those items that your students need for success at a discounted rate!

On the other hand, you can always start a DonorsChoose project and add those TPT gift cards to it! I was funded 500 dollars worth of TPT gift cards for my students. I used many of them for my guided math groups and different remote lessons!

If you are looking for relationship building activities, I got you! I used these activities to build the strongest relationships ever with my students last year. They also became my favorite class!! But shhh, do not tell my other students. =) I also contribute the daily activities to our ability to close the achievement gap! I used our morning meeting question of the day and our picture of the day with my students every single morning during morning meeting! I pulled up our next Google slide for our question and our Google slide for our picture of the day. Students had to answer the question of the day and practice their inferencing and observation skills with the picture of the day. There are 180 editable Google Slides for both the Morning Meeting Question of The Day and The Picture of The Day. You can edit and change out any questions or pictures that you do not like.
